Mr. Scott Bakkum (bakkums@oasd.org
is the counselor for students with last names that begin with A-Fe in grades 9-12.  Mr. Bakkum earned his undergraduate degree (BS) from UW-La Crosse in 1986 in Secondary Education in the field of Social Studies.  After teaching high school students for nine years at Ripon High School,  he completed his Masters of Science degree in Guidance and Counseling (MS.Ed.) from UW-Oshkosh in 1998.  He has been a school counselor at Oconomowoc High School since the fall of 1998. He has also spent time coaching football at Oconomowoc High School since his arrival in 1998.  Mr. Bakkum lives in Oconomowoc with his wife Nancy, their two boys and one daughter. All of his children have attended school in the stellar Oconomowoc Area School District. Outside of school, Mr. Bakkum enjoys spending time with his family, golf, travel, and the Green Bay Packers. 

Mrs. Angela Fisher (fishera@oasd.org
is the counselor for students with the last names that begin with Fi-kr in grades 9-12.   Mrs. Fisher joined the district after 10 years of counseling in 2008 and has been at Oconomowoc high school since 2010. She is a graduate of UW-Eau Claire where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and finished up her Master of Science Degree in Guidance and Counseling K-12 from UW-Stout in 2000. Mrs. Fisher resides in Oconomowoc with her husband and three children.

Mrs. Susan Verhagen (verhags@oasd.org
is the counselor for students with the last names that begin with ks-Ro in grades 9-12.   Mrs. Verhagen began her career in the district as an elementary counselor at Park Lawn School in 1991.   After being at Park Lawn for nearly 20 years, Mrs. Verhagen joined the Oconomowoc High School Student Services team in 2011.   She is a 1990 graduate of UW-Madison where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Social Welfare.  Mrs. Verhagen then completed her Master of Science Degree in Educational Psychology from UW-Milwaukee in 1991. Mrs. Verhagen feels so fortunate to work with such incredible students and families.  Mrs. Verhagen's other joys in life include spending time with her husband, Jeff, and two children, Nate and Claire, who are currently high school students. 

Ms. Jennifer Hoffman (hoffmanje@oasd.org)
is the counselor for students with the last names that begin with letters Ru-Z in grades 9-12. Ms. Hoffman attended Loyola University Chicago where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology- Human Services with minors in Cultural Anthropology and Studio Art in 2012. Passionate about working with adolescents in an academic setting, Ms. Hoffman continued her education and earned her Master of Education in School Counseling Degree from Loyola University Chicago in 2014. Ms. Hoffman is excited to be back in her home state of Wisconsin, living in downtown Milwaukee close to her family and friends. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports, trying new restaurants and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

Mrs. Katherine Konle (konlek@oasd.org)
is one of the School Social Workers and the 504 case manager.  She has always known that she wanted to be a School Social Worker, and graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2008, and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2009.  Mrs. Konle has been working at Oconomowoc High School since 2014, and loves working with the students here. Mrs. Konle also enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling as much as possible, going to music shows, completing crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, and being active outside.

Mrs. Carrie Schultz (schultzc@oasd.org
Carrie Schultz is the Gifted Resource Teacher, AP/IB Coordinator and ACT State Testing Coordinator. Mrs. Schultz earned her undergraduate degree (BS) from UW-Eau Claire in 1995 in Secondary Education in the fields of German and Psychology. She began her career at OHS as a German Teacher in 1995. In 1997, Mrs. Schultz added GT Resource teacher to her role. She helped implement the IB Diploma Programme in 2006 and the IB Career-related Programme in 2012. In 2011, she earned her Master of Education in School Counseling Degree from UW-Whitewater. She is currently pursuing a Gifted Coordinator License from UW-Whitewater. Mrs. Schultz resides in Oconomowoc with her husband and two children. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and watching the Green Bay Packers.

Mrs. Kris Zimmer (zimmerk@oasd.org) is the Registrar for Oconomowoc High School. She completed her undergraduate degree in Marketing at Drake University in Des Moines, IA.  After many years of working in sales and retail she joined the district in 2011, joining the student services staff in 2013.  Mrs. Zimmer resides in Oconomowoc with her husband and their two boys.

Mrs. Jennifer Zoromski (zoromskij@oasd.org)
is the Administrative Assistant in Student Services at Oconomowoc High School.  She has worked as a legal assistant for the last sixteen years, joining the OHS staff in 2015.  Mrs. Zoromski resides in Slinger with her husband and twin daughters.
