2017 Summer School Skills Instruction Registration Information
Non-OASD OR parochial/private school students
Any non-OASD student or students from local parochial/private schools must complete an OASD student application form prior to summer school registration (this is different from the Family Access account registration). This form is posted below and should be completed and submitted directly online. Upon receiving the completed form, OASD staff will enroll your student into the summer school program. You will be notified to proceed with the registration process.
Credit recovery offered to students who failed a course during the school year
Summer school credit recovery courses will be taught through our standards-based online program, Odysseyware. Students seeing to recover a credit from a failed class during the school year may enroll in this self-paced fully online curriculum.
Students should work with their counselor to choose the needed courses and create an agreement for credit recovery. Upon completion of the Odysseyware course, students may replace any failure earned from the current school year with a letter grade. Students who do not finish their Odysseyware courses by July 28, 2017, and wish to earn a letter grade, will be required to re-enroll in the traditional course during the academic year, or complete the Odysseyware course for a pass/fail grade.
