  • Table assignments will be posted the week prior to prom outside of Student Services and in Raccoon Runway.

Guests From Other Schools

  • Students wishing to bring a graduate from the class of 2024 must fill out a Guest Approval Form.
  • Students must submit this form to their Associate Principal.  We advise that students do not purchase a ticket for a guest until their request form has been approved.
  • Forms should be submitted no later than Friday, April 4, 2025.

Arrival & Transportation

Arrival

  • Students should park their cars in the South parking lot near the Gale Douglas Fieldhouse.
  • Students should arrive in the Gale Douglas Fieldhouse by 5:00 p.m. with their student IDs.
  • Doors to the fieldhouse will be open at 4:30 p.m.
  • Bus assignments will be posted, and students will begin loading shortly after 5:00 p.m.
  • Due to a lack of attendance in prior years, the Grand March will no longer be held before departure.

Transportation

  • Students will be transported via coach buses from the Gale Douglas Fieldhouse to Discovery World.  Buses will begin to load around 5:00 p.m. Each bus will have an assigned OASD staff member.
  • PLEASE NOTE: All students must ride on a bus to and from prom. Students may not drive separately or be driven to the event by someone else.
  • Once students are at the venue, it is required that students remain at the venue until the buses leave at the end of the night.

  • Meal choices will be made when purchasing the tickets online.
  • Students with special dietary restrictions or needs should indicate that when purchasing their ticket.
  • All specific dietary restrictions are shared with the venue ahead of time and may not be changed after Friday, April 11, 2025.

School Policies and Announcements

  • Female guests may bring a small purse. School staff members may conduct a search of students’ purses or jackets if there is reasonable suspicion to believe the student has in his/her possession an item that would endanger the health or safety of the school population.
  • There is no reason to bring money. All events at prom are included in the price of the ticket.
  • We are not responsible for lost items.
