The annual school registration process is completed online through your Skyward Family Access account. It is important to complete the registration process for each child by August 6 to ensure accurate student records on the first day of school.
Who Completes Online Registration?
All families need to complete online registration for each child every summer. Only parents/guardians listed as the primary household within Skyward are able to complete the online registration process, however, student fees may be paid by primary or secondary households.
What if my child is new to the OASD?
If your child has never attended an OASD school, you will need to complete the new student online enrollment process first. Please visit our new student enrollment page for more information.

In an effort to streamline our field trip practices, we are asking families to complete one permission slip form and pay all field trip fees during the 2024-25 annual online registration process. The permission slip form will appear as an automatic step during online registration and the fees for your student will be added to your account.

Important Notes:
- The field trip dates listed in our flyer are approximate and specific dates will be confirmed by your child's teacher in advance of the field trip.
- Information about chaperoning a field trip will also be provided by your child's teacher prior to each field trip.
- By granting permission during the Online Registration process, you will not need to complete an individual permission slip for each field trip.
- If a field trip is canceled or there is a need to reverse a field trip fee after it has been paid, the Park Lawn office assistants will help families with a credit.
- If a field trip is added during the school year, your child's teacher will provide more information and direction.

- Between July 7-August 21: Medications and care plans for all students can be dropped off by appointment at Oconomowoc High School East Campus. Please contact Jody Ernser in the District Health Services Office, at (262)-560-2114 or ErnserJ@oasd.org to make an appointment or ask questions about your child’s medications, care plan, or any other health care paperwork.
- Between August 25-28: Medications and care plans can be dropped off at your child's school between 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday, or during your school's open house on Tuesday, August 26
- OHS students can drop off medications and care plans at OHS Registration Day on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the Fieldhouse.

Students in grades 1-12 have access to a district-issued Chromebook to use for school.
- Grades 1-3: Chromebooks remain at school for classroom use.
- Grades 4-12: Starting in grade 4, students will be issued a Chromebook for three years. They will be exchanged at the end of the school year in 6th grade and again in 9th grade, then returned in 12th grade. Other than these exchange times, students will retain the same Chromebook during the school year and summer.
Chromebook Agreement
During online registration, families with students in grades 4-12 will be asked to complete a Chromebook Agreement and will have the option to purchase Chromebook insurance for $25.
- We strongly encourage 4th-12th grade families to purchase this insurance because students in these grades will be taking Chromebooks to and from school each day.
- Chromebook insurance can only be purchased during registration and cannot be purchased once the school year begins.
- Families with students entering 1st-3rd grade do not need to purchase Chromebook insurance because students in these grades will only use a Chromebook at school.
- Families who wish to opt-out of the Chromebook program in grades 4-12 will need to provide their own device to be used at school and home.

The OASD will hold Back to School Open Houses on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Students and families can come to school to drop off supplies, meet teachers, and find classrooms.
Open Houses are scheduled at the following times:
- Oconomowoc High School: 2:00-4:00 p.m. for teacher meet and greet, 4:00-6:00 p.m. for self-guided tours
- Nature Hill & Silver Lake Intermediate: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
- Elementary Schools: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Lifetouch Photography will be at school to take photos on the dates below. Families can order photos online through the Lifetouch website, using the picture codes listed below.
