Oconomowoc High School has created the Alumni of the Year to honor OHS graduates. This recognition identifies graduates who have made significant contributions to mankind and allows current OHS students to be aware of the promise and challenge that they can achieve these accomplishments as well.

The following criteria must be met to be considered for induction to the Oconomowoc High School Wall of Fame:
- Must be a graduate of Oconomowoc High School at least 10 years from the current date.
- Candidate must have made a significant contribution to the welfare of mankind. This contribution may have been accomplished through one or more of the following areas but not limited to:
- Community impact/recognition
- State/National impact/recognition
- Volunteer work
- Contribution to human culture
- Benefit to mankind
- Applications must be received before April 1 each year, for presentation at an OASD Board of Education meeting.
- A committee consisting of members of the Oconomowoc High School community will choose the inductee.
- The induction ceremony will consist of a presentation at an OASD Board of Education meeting by a member of the high school speech class.
