The Oconomowoc Virtual Learning Community (OVLC) provides OHS students with flexible, online learning options. Students may enroll full-time or part-time while still accessing OHS programs, activities, and support.

Full-Time
- 3–4 credits per semester.
- Required weekly individual live sessions, digital literacy activities.
Part-Time
- 0.5–2.5 credits per semester.
- Can be combined with in-person OHS courses or participation in other OHS programs.
- Required weekly small group live sessions during Pride Period, digital literacy activities.

Courses are delivered online through a digital curriculum aligned to Wisconsin state standards. All courses are 1.0 credits unless otherwise noted. Options include:
- English: ELA 9–12 (UWGB dual college credit option in-person only), AP Language & Composition
- Math: Algebra, Geometry, Concepts in Probability & Statistics, Algebra II, Precalculus
- Science: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science
- Social Studies: Human Geography, U.S. History, Modern World History, Economics, U.S. Government (.5 credit), AP U.S. Government & Politics
- Note: To meet the Civics graduation requirement, students must take both US Government and Human Geography if they have not yet passed the in-person Humanities course.
- Agriculture: Agribusiness Systems (0.5 credit), Food Products & Processing Systems (0.5 credit)
- Business: Personal Finance (0.5 credit), Small Business Entrepreneurship (0.5 credit)
- Career & Tech Ed.: Medical Terminology, Intro to Computer Science (1.5 credits), Intro to Careers in Architecture & Construction (0.5 credit), Intro to Law, Public Safety & Corrections (0.5 credit)
- PE/Health: Contemporary Health (0.5 credit PE and 0.5 credit Health), Lifetime Fitness I and II (each 0.5 credit)
- Art: Art History I, Introduction to Art (0.5 credit)

- Students complete coursework online with support from OHS teachers and the OVLC Instructional Specialist.
- Weekly live sessions build digital citizenship, career readiness, and provide personalized support.
- OVLC courses are designed to match the workload of in-person OHS courses and must be completed in full within the semester to receive credit for the course.
- Students are expected to attend OHS Career, College, and Life Readiness events in person.

- Same grading policies as in-person OHS courses.
- Grades updated in Skyward.
- Courses appear as “OVLC” on transcripts.
- NCAA eligibility must be reviewed with a counselor.

All OVLC students must attend a required orientation each school year to:
- Meet OVLC staff.
- Learn how to access and complete online coursework.
- Review program expectations.

- Registration is completed through Family Access during the regular course request window.
- Parents/guardians must select OVLC; students cannot register themselves.
- Space is limited. Late requests require counselor and administrator approval.
- Students who register for OVLC courses may take additional courses face-to-face at OHS. Students must indicate their desired face-to-face courses through the scheduling process with their OHS counselor.
- Enrollment options:
- Full-Time: 3–4 credits per semester
- Part-Time: 0.5–2.5 credits per semester
