Following the successful launch of our OASD 2019-2024 Strategic Plan in the spring of 2019, our OASD school board and administrative team approved the second phase of strategic planning, focusing on athletics. An advisory group of community members, parents, coaches, administrators, and consultants were assembled in the winter of 2020 to evaluate the current state of OASD athletics, with the goal of developing a shared vision and prioritized plan of work. In March 2022, the OASD school board approved the Athletic Strategic Plan.

- OHS coaches visit facilities of benchmark schools to inform short/long-term needs.
- Key Long-Term Priorities:
- Develop a long-range plan based on the short-term barriers, complete with schematic designs and a funding plan (budget impact).
- RFP architectural services for plans and vision.
